How to Add an Addon Domain in cPanel

Log in to your cPanel

In the Domains section, click Addon Domains.

Now, add required details:

New Domain Name: Enter the domain name (e.g. mynewdomain.com) you are adding to your cPanel account.
Subdomain / Ftp Username: When adding a new domain to your cPanel account, an additional FTP user for this domain is automatically configured.
Document Root: The document root is the directory where the files for this website will be placed. The default directory for new domains is public_html/NewDomain
Password The password you enter here is the FTP password for the FTP user mentioned above.
Password (Again): Enter the above password again to ensure you are typing it correctly.

 

Click on “Add Domain” button and you are done.
